Hi Timothy,
An investment visa on realty is do-able, not as easy as an EC Bank Deposit CD, but can be hammered out in 2-3 months time. The Aviation & Pilot community in EC is very tight nit, in a country the same size sq. miles as Colorado.
I know Ecuadorians with Pilot License that can't get work, and I know one Expat that is a Helicopter Pilot Instructor for the Quito Fire DEPT.
Tame THE EC Gov. Airline, has cut routes, and is about to cutt more routes,

Hey, Jack!
I sent you an email about if it is relatively easy to obtain a real estate investment visa and if there are many jobs for pilots. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for all the help and information!

Journeyman Jack" Abercrombie, a well known tour guide-driver from Quito (the capital of Ecuador) was visiting the area of Cuenca for a few
days and called for a gathering of friends at Fabiano's (our favorite pizza spot). He anticipated maybe 20-25 people.
