Scuba Diving in Puerto Lopez - Jan 20, 2014 Add Video

Jan 20, 2014 -Two dives with Nature Diving in Puerto Lopez were great. Visibility wasn't so great, but we had a fun time. The next day, went again and the viz was great. Saw trumpet fish, rock cod, sponges, coral, starfish, and a sea turtle. The woman in the video is my dive partner Bethanay. The dive master offered to video the dive for us and we shared the video. Nice!

Jack, as I was telling Jeff Schinsky we are planning a trip to Ecuador for Nov 11th to the 20th, and want to see alot of the country. I was wanting to hire a bilingual driver/guide for the week, (but very expensive at $150/day plus expenses, and my brother who is coming with me wants to bus everywhere (cheap backpack style.) Though I am going to have carry on luggage, so not sure how that will work when wanting to sight see. Dragging a suitcase on and off a bus to check out a place of interest that maybe I don't necessarily want to stay the night in, but 3 to 4 hours or so sounds unfun. But not sure if I could pare down enough to do a backpack for nine days. Neither of us speak enough Spanish to communicate. What is your suggestion? Any ideas? Thanks for any insight you can provide. Molly
